Big thank you to all that attended last Wednesday nights AGM it was a fantastic turnout.

As many of you are aware John Forrest elected to step down from the Presidents position as has Andrew Quill from the Junior Co-Ordinator role. I cannot thank John and Andrew enough for their past contributions that they have made in these roles, Their efforts are the main reason this club has been so successful over the preceding period.

From an incoming presidents perspective I would like to say that not much is expected to change, and nor should it. We plan to build on our success, but focus on initiatives that ensure we have the right programmes in place to permit sustained success, ensuring the efforts of those in the past are not in vain.

A formal structure for the junior club, with closer integration with the senior club, re-instatement of In2Cricket programme and a revamp of our social events will be our main focus. From an onfield perspective Matt Hyden and Eivion Bowen will remain in their on field roles, as previously announced

The new committee consists of:

Matt Beggs – Vice President

Andrew Parsons – Treasurer

Wade Pelzer – Secretary

Glen Prendergast – Function Co-Ordinator

Sam Messinis – Membership Co-Ordinator

Cam MacCauley – Communications

Braydon Jarred – Past Players

Dylan O’Malley – Statistics

John Forrest – Head of Cricket

We still have a vacancy for the position of Junior Co-Ordinator, this is a vitally important role within our clubs quest for sustained success. If anyone is interested or would like to find out more about the role please contact me ASAP.

On behalf of the POBCC I would sincerely like to thank our sponsors for the support they provide:

Canadian Bay Hotel, Wolfdene, Southern Partners, Casey Superclinic Pharmacy, Ferntree Gully Toyota, Faire, and Hardings Hardware.

We look forward to continuing our partnerships in the future,

It is a truely a great honour to be elected as president of this club, the club is a reflection of its members, a club that bats way above its average in comparison to its size.

Lets all get involved, celebrate our success, but work hard to ensure that players and supporters are able to share the same experiences that we have long into the future

Adam J.

President POBCC.
